ATALM2025 Call for Session Proposals

ATALM Conferences fulfill the educational and networking needs of Indigenous peoples from throughout the world. Known for delivering practical and culturally relevant training, the conferences provide a unique opportunity to share knowledge and build networks.
- Complete a separate form for each proposed session. If you are submitting a double session, separate forms must be submitted for each session.

PRESENTER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conference presenters carry significant responsibilities. All presenters are expected to:
- Register for the conference at the time their session is accepted. Presenters may register at the early bird member rate of $350. Sessions will not be published until all presenters register.
- Presenter support is available for qualifying presenters. Request for Presenter Support applications are available HERE. Priority is given to Native presenters and presenters presenting more than one session.
- Create well-prepared, high-quality presentations ensuring the content is clear, concise, and engaging.
- Design sessions that encourage audience engagement through discussions, Q&A sessions, activities, or workshops that allow participants to actively participate and learn.
- Attend the full conference and contribute to a meaningful exchange of ideas and knowledge.
PRESENTER KEY DATES:
- February 20, 2025 - Deadline for submitting session proposals
- February - March 2025 - Session proposals reviewed
- March 26, 2025 - Acceptance/decline notifications distributed
- April 4, 2025 - Deadline for presenters to accept or decline offer to present
- April 23, 2025 - Preliminary Program released
- August 8, 2025 - Final Program Book released
- October 7 -9, 2025 ATALM Conference, Cherokee, North Carolina

- Once you submit your form, you will receive automated emails from Submittable confirming your submission. Please be sure to safelist emails from conference@atalm.org and notifications@email.submittable.com. More information may be found here. You are encouraged to forward the confirmation email to your co-presenters if you have not named them as official Collaborators.
