ATALM2025 Scholarship Application

IMPORTANT -- Scholarships are contingent on ATALM receiving funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). At this time, IMLS funding for ATALM has not been pulled, and we are actively working to retain it. However, final decisions are beyond our control, and the situation remains uncertain. If no resolution is reached with IMLS funding by mid-summer, ATALM will make a final decision regarding the status of scholarship awards by Friday, August 15, 2025. This will allow scholars ample time to make or adjust travel plans ahead of the October conference. We remain hopeful that funding will be secured, but in the interest of transparency and respectful planning, we are committed to providing a definitive update by that date.

Scholarship funds are made available through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and contributions from other generous donors.

ATALM2025 SCHOLAR KEY DATES: 

  • Applications to be reviewed on a rolling basis.
  • October 7-9, 2025 ATALM Conference, Cherokee, North Carolina

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
